an ornate parchment

EXAMINE:
The parchment is made of a maggot skin pulled over a support of birch rind and pine bark. Several pictures have been drawn in the first half of it and elven runes cover the remaining space. The drawings are easy to decipher: In the centre stands a tall man clad in white, who holds three lightning bolts in his right hand and throws a ball of fire from the other. Lying at his feet are several horses and blond-haired men, you figure to be dead Rohirrim. On either side are men wearing furs, the Dunlendings, impaling the corpses with long poles. Another picture shows the same white man at the foot of a huge tower, donating treasures and a crown to the Dunlendings. Below this is a short text written with decorated elven runes. At the bottom is a large elven S rune.
