NEWS:
(2025-01-08) I'm back again to work on this site some more. I have identified some weapons and found that the output now mentions if the weapon has normal reach or long reach, etc. That means I may have to go through all the weapons again, and re-identify them to get the latest data. I also noticed that Sting has changed its description from "the Elven shortsword with a runic inscription" to "the polished Elven shortsword". Very interesting changes. Let me know if you find any other items that need to be re-identified. I also am planning on putting some effort into making this site a little prettier now that I have a significant percentage of the items identified.

OLD NEWS:
(2024-01-18) I unretired Obidicut and have been upgrading my identify scripts. I have fixed an old issue where I would sometimes lose link to the game when I identified something. Planning on upgrading this website a bit too.

(2023-11-09) I just upgraded my server. It should be quite a bit faster now. Of course I didn't forget to bring this site along for the ride. I'm actually thinking about playing Mume again soon. Maybe I can add some new items to this website.

(2021-06-21) My site has been really slow for the last week because I've been trying to upgrade this software that has a massive 1.2 GB database. My server has been running in the redline constantly trying to process all that data, and then to make matters even worse there was a power outage at my data center. Since the server was trying to write to disk when it lost power all the databases on my server got corrupted. I managed to put the databases into read-only mode and backed up all the data. Then I deleted and reinstalled my database software, and then imported the data back in. Everything seems to be working now. I'm so glad I didn't lose all of my mume identify data. This all took months to identify.

(2021-01-29) The long awaited shields and bucklers pages have been added. You might notice that all the bucklers also show up on the shields page because you can wear a buckler with a one handed weapon if you want, for instance if you want the increased offensive bonus from the spiked horsehide, but if you're wielding a two handed weapon you can only use a buckler. I also think the ratio column is interesting because it shows the parry per pound. Generally the higher the total parry bonus the lower the ratio gets meaning you get less and less parry for each additional pound of weight. Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions for the site. I'm hoping to get some more updates done in the near future.

(2021-01-26) I'm amazed to find out that people are actually using my half finished site! I only told like four people about it, but apparently the word has spread. I've had quite a few people contact me about it. I'm so happy to hear that people actually find it useful. I haven't played mume in over six months, but I would be glad to log in and identify items for people if you have something that is new, on my most wanted list, or if the item has been updated. The best way to get a hold of me is to @Obidicut on the Mume discord server, or DM me at Krydos#1844 on discord. I'm planning on making a few updates to this site in the near future. Keep an eye on it.
